Job Description:

The Team

The Credit & Originations Technology Team within the Enterprise Enabling Technology Solutions (EETS) is a dynamic, high performing, and fast paced team supporting several of TD's key Risk Management platforms. This includes the Credit Adjudication, Initiation, Review, and Origination (CAIRO) and Internal Risk Rating applications.

We support several production applications in various environments that track, manage and report on key risk areas in the bank. We also develop and procure software applications in support of the Bank's initiatives in these areas.

Job Description 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate for a 12 month internship in the role of BSA / Support Analyst.

The candidate should be able to thrive in this fast paced environment, who finds satisfaction not only in delivering

effective quality solutions but also enjoys working with a friendly and diverse team of professionals. The candidate may also be involved in the following:

  • Assignments/Projects are moderate to highly complex and are performed under minimal management supervision.
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Ability to remain resilient under high-pressure projects or regulatory demands.
  • Strong communicator with excellent oral and technical writing skills
  • Experience with TD System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Visio, PPT, Word)
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Database
  • Experience with Change Management and ITS engagement
  • Past Experience with TD Internal Audit
  • Demonstrated team player; reliable with positive “can do” attitude.
  • Sound knowledge of Bank and technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications).
  • Flexible but disciplined methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Understanding of Financial Products including Loans and other Assets is an asset
  • Knowledge of Risk Management and/or Credit Risk and/or Basel II & III an asset

Education

Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma

 

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Completion of College / University program in IT, Computer Science, Commerce, Business, or Finance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of SQL 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and partner demands concurrently
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, as well as independently
  • Knowledge of the SDLC
  • Knowledge of business analysis principles
  • Understanding of Financial Products is a bonus
