Project Control Officer

Purpose of Job

The Project Control Officer is part of a GF&RT team that support Onboarding/Offboarding of contractor’s and support the Senior Management with Project Forecasting and Invoice processing. They also contribute to designing, developing and implementing solutions for Enterprise Technology in areas of onboarding and other reporting initiatives.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Validating external contractor’s vendor SOW (Statement of Work)
  • Manage contract intake tool
  • Data inputting into bank’s CMS (Contract Management System), Fieldglass and Vista Tool
  • Support project management tasks within the team when required (i.e. Invoice processing, Project Forecasting, Accruals, PO reconciliations etc.)
  • Interact with multiple project teams, business units, vendors and upper level management
  • Track all incoming and historical contract data in Excel
  • Initiate improvements in the processes
  • Proactively take on new tasks
  • Communicate onboarding processes with hiring managers and business partners

Mandatory Skills / Education / Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in fast paced, demanding environment

Nice to have Skills/Education/Experience:

  • 1+ year resource management - onboarding/offboarding activities
  • 1+ year working in Corporate environment
  • Strong project financial focus– running forecasts, ensuring accuracy, forecast actuals for projects
  • Clarity PPM experience
  • Vista Supplier Sourcing and Third-Party Management Experience
  • Project Control Officer Experience
