The Position:

As the Service Support Operations Intern you will be joining a fast-paced environment.  In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within Operations, Contracts, Multi Vendor, and Commercial Services and assist the greater organization in achieving its annual priorities as an active participant.

 

Nature of work:

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

  • Ability to work in a cross functional business environment
  • Re-vamp Support Central (Internal Web) for Operations and Tools and keep current the Support Central (website) and folders documentation
  • Help write and create new Job Aids, SOPs, Checklists, Reference documents and support maintenance and changes for existing documents
  • Review and update SOPs for external support team’s tasks and training of the team
  • Running of reports for Monthly Operations Dashboard
  • Support with systems data review/updates as and when required
  • Any other general tasks that may come to light during position in Support Operations team

 

Do you qualify? We are seeking…

Skills:

  • Individuals with less than 2 years of work experience (outside of co-op/internship/summer work experience);
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office, with an ability to learn new systems;
  • Analytical and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate issues to stakeholders in an easy to understand manner;
  • Ability to work in a metrics, process-oriented environment;
  • Exhibits behavior of being a self-starter driven to meet deadlines while continuously seeking a “better way” of accomplishing tasks and improving processes;
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and ability to work well both independently and within a team.

 

Education:

  • College or University Bachelor Degree in Business/Management or relevant equivalent discipline.
  • Open to both current students who will be returning to their in-class studies upon the completion of the work term and recent graduates who have completed their studies within the past 2 years

 

Desired:

  • Experience with Siebel CRM and Oracle an asset
