General Accountabilities
As a member of the Talent Acquisition team you will provide support to Hiring Managers and the Human Resources department on employment related matters such as job advertisements, offer letters, mass hires, reporting, Success Factors support and HR policies as they relates to recruitment. You will be accountable for providing administrative support throughout the full recruitment cycle to the Talent Acquisition Department.
Specific Accountabilities
- Provide consistent, timely, and accurate information to employees and managers in accordance with job advertisements and relevant provisions of the collective agreement
- Review pending requisitions for accurate information, and prepare them to be posted
- Assist Talent Acquisition Consultants in drafting offer letters
- Prepare and distribute weekly emails and other ad hoc communications regarding updates in the recruitment process or job advertisements
- Assist in coordinating various events (co-op tour, co-op orientation, etc)
- Schedule interviews for hiring managers and candidates
- Provide support in mass hires by managing the job advertisements, preparing spreadsheets and coordinating and maintaining consistent communication with the Line of Business
- Initiate background checks for external candidates and follow up for further documentation or information if required
- Provide technical support for the relevant Talent Acquisition modules to Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition department
- Provide other ad hoc support to the Talent Acquisition department as it pertains to the recruitment cycle
Job Requirements
Education – Post Secondary education, strong interest in Talent Acquisition
Experience – 1-3 years’ of relevant experience
Skills
- Strong competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
