Job Description:

What is the opportunity?

 Identify, attract and hire high volume roles for RBC Personal and Commercial Banking rols. 

What Will You Do?

1.  Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Effectiveness

Effectively and efficiently indentify, attract and hire the right candidates at the right time to meet the business and workforce planning needs. Possible sourcing channels include, but not limited to: timely follow-up with employee referrals, mining of candidate databases (i.e. TL, Indeed), proactively sourcing diverse candidates, partnering with Sr Recruiters etc.
Proactively build pipeline for key critical positions and future talent needs.

Identify and refer potential candidates for suitable roles to business partners, such as Advice Centres, Insurance, Collections, and National Office. 

Focus on quality of hire and appropriately positioning the CA role responsibilities and requirements to:

Assist in maintaining or reducing first year attrition in our CA roles
Ensuring candidates understand role continuum and their ability to move to future roles across the enterprise
Deliver a positive candidate experience by clearly communicating RBC’s value proposition, role responsibilities, recruitment timelines and next steps.

2. Candidate Experience; Talent Acquisition Expertise   – Provide best in class expertise and advice in partnership with hiring managers to provide a superior candidate experience,  to secure  the best talent quickly using effective and efficient workflow management. (Intake effectiveness, job posting creation, appropriate movement through folders, data compliance).

Ensures candidate a superior Recruitment experience

3.  Diversity

Develop diversity & inclusion mindset throughout the candidate experience  to ensure RBC’s hiring process is fair, equitable and inclusive
Understand and deliver diversity needs by business segment and proactively profile quality diverse talent
During the Intake, be an influencer to assess current diversity dynamics and be an advisor to hiring managers and partners to ensure awareness of diversity needs, constantly explore  unconscious bias
Demonstrate best effort by ensuring a diverse slate of candidates is provided in every hiring opportunity

4.  Partner Relationships

Build/maintain strong relationships by providing strong intake and recruitment advice to hiring managers
Build/maintain strong relationships with Trainee Management Partners, ensuring:

a smooth and timely onboarding experience for candidates and hiring managers; and
an early identification of issues/gaps in current process and work collaboratively to find the best solution.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning by building business acumen, sharing competitive intelligence, and staying abreast of business/market trends

Payrate: $23/hr
