(Leap) Learning Project Coordinator – Skills Strategy and Talent Mobility Team
What is the opportunity?
The Skills Strategy and Talent Mobility team is focused on supporting talent mobility by scaling and developing our Leap Learning program that helps employees learn new skills to take on new and different in-demand careers at RBC. We also manage a number of assessment tools that help people find new jobs and to develop their skills.
A current priority for HR and for the SS&TM team is to support the migration to WorkDay, our new human capital management system (effective 2022). In this role, you will work closely with members of the Leap team, as well as partners across HR, to support the decommissioning of legacy systems & tools (e.g. Degreed) and contribute to ensuring the successful migration and implementation of WorkDay.
What will you do?
- Support the Degreed Decommissioning Project & Working Group by conducting business analyst activities. (This may include analyzing data, assessing business’ needs, defining requirements for target state, modeling requirements).
- Analyze and document data to identify solution requirements and validate with impacted stakeholders
- Provide change management support to the Degreed Decommissioning Project working group (e.g. create and distribute change communications; document change impacts, current process mapping, and changes to processes; track and report change management adoption and successes)
- Liaise with the Enterprise Learning and Digital HR teams, as well as other HR stakeholders, to support development of project plans to drive change management from initiation to the delivery of corresponding work product(s).
- Project management activities in relation to the work effort around migration to WorkDay, i.e. coordination of activities, cross-functional stakeholder management, documentation and validation.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-7 years’ experience in program/project management or as a Business Analyst
- Experience working on cross-functional change implementation projects
- Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for data analysis and reporting and highly proficient in Excel
- Excellent relationship-building, teamwork and collaborative skills
- Business analysis skills & experience
- Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Nice-to-have
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
- Familiarity with Degreed platform or similar learning management systems would be an asset
