Job Description:

What is the opportunity?


The Development Programs team creates great career experiences. We design and deliver development programs with a strong focus on: helping young people make the school to work transition, developing early talent for our leadership pipeline and achieving diversity priorities. Our Associates experience accelerated development through hands on work experience across RBC and community partners with targeted learning, coaching and mentorship. Together, we deliver differentiated employee experiences which attract and develop talent in support of organizational priorities.


In this role you will be supporting the Development Programs team and primarily the Indigenous Peoples Development Program with coordinating various tasks, managing logistics and assisting in planning and execution of existing projects and new initiatives.


What will you do?


Support the recruitment process, managing the communication, scheduling the interviews and all the other logistics
Provides event planning and execution for key initiatives such as, employee workshop, new employee orientation
Ensure all the onboarding logistics of new employees are managed by ordering the technology requests via internal onboarding systems
Support team with preparing project plans and timelines
Provide regular reports and updates to partners and team
Maintain and update the team internal site on a regular basis
Create and cascade program surveys, analyze the results and update the scorecards
Design and create communication
Support with booking partners calendars
Ad hoc projects


What do you need to succeed?



An undergraduate degree in Business or Human Resources with minimum 2-3 years of experience
Proven research, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, with excellent attention to details and willingness to take ownership of tasks
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Ability to build strong working relationships with key partners
Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
Project management experiences
Strong time management skills


Nice-to-have (optional)


Excellent technical skills across a variety of multi-media platforms, graphic design, editing digital imagery, audio, video.
