Job Description:

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will manage the Intake of PO Requests assigned, PO Creation, Goods Receipt, Invoice Payment, Vendor Interaction (end-to-end life-cycle). You will also create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for RBC in SAP, ensure that invoices and scheduled payments are processed in a time-effective manner, and assist with coordinating and executing financial materials as requested.

 

What will you do?

RBC Purchase Order Analyst for Non-Standard (Exceptions) processing.
Manage Intake of PO Requests assigned, PO Creation, Goods Receipt, Invoice Payment, Vendor Interaction (end-to-end life-cycle).
Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for RBC in SAP
Ensures that invoices and scheduled payments are processed in a time-effective manner.
Assist with coordinating and executing financial materials as requested.
Respond to vendor queries in a timely manner.
Reconcile Monthly vendor statements for overdue invoice processing/payments – follow-up on aged items.
Log any disputes with vendors and prepare tracking reports to ensure status update and resolution achieved.
Manage Requestor/Vendor expectations and ensure deliverables are met within established SLAs while handling competing priorities.
Address PO related issues and expedite solutions across a wide variety of users and operations.
Provide consultative and advisory service to internal/external stakeholders to resolve a multitude of complex scenarios to ensure service delivered successfully.
Provide reporting service to peers and reporting director to aid in strategic decisions making; works with Supplier Management Group.
MUST adhere to all RBC Policy and Legal Requirements.

*Key support service for RBC requisitions/orders pertaining to Non-Standard requests: Capital Purchases, Non-Standard Item Purchases, Restricted Item Purchases, Exception Item Purchases (Profession Services, etc.), Capital, Finance & Operating Leases, and Maintenance – Hardware/Software – purchases and renewals, etc.

Required:

SAP MM; Accounts Payable; Taxation; Accounting/Finance;
Organized and Detail Oriented
Ability to maintain high-level of confidentiality, to multi-task, prioritize workload, work collaboratively, ensure accuracy, adhere and enforce RBC Policies, work accurately and swiftly under the pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, administrative, organizational, analytical, time-management, research, vendor relations, problem-solving, and records management skills.
Ability to communicate financial and accounting related information in ways that are understood by all within daily interactions.
Results and Service Delivery Oriented; Strong Presence and clear communicator; Ability to shift priorities quickly and maintain focus/organized. 
Proficient with MS Office Suite of products, Intermediate/Advanced Excel

Others:

Strong Analytical Skills; Strong Problem Solving Skills.
2-3 years working with SAP MM & Purchase Order Processing.
1-2 years of Service Delivery oriented work experience
1-2 years of billing/invoicing processing
