What is the opportunity?
The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and analyzing holistic functional business requirements and relevant testing for assigned initiatives by applying complete knowledge, skills, and practices to facilitate program delivery. He will provide support (process, system, and operating model) to drive successful initiative delivery. This includes enterprise initiatives such as transformation, technology, and regulatory.
What will you do?
Participate in projects/initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements, input to proposed solutions, testing, and business readiness activities
Responsible for all aspects of business analysis including understanding business objectives, planning, eliciting, scoping, analyzing, documenting, validation, prioritization, managing changes, maintaining traceability, stakeholder analysis and business readiness activities
Plan and write test cases (UAT/PIV) and leads the execution of test cases by project SMEs, provide feedback on the quality of deliverables and escalate quality issues
Support and collaborate with IT partners to manage and facilitate the resolution of Production/Technical issues
Conduct thorough stakeholder and system analysis to ensure that all impacted parties are considered
Facilitate collaborative requirements sessions with large and diverse groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
Contribute to a full understanding of the problem and the desired value of an initiative, and ensure that as the project progresses, that the benefits are realized
Assess the organizational change impact on people, processes, and systems, and support the integration of these changes into the RBC landscape
Work closely with Engagement Lead to develop the capability to provide a fact-based, value-added integrated view of assigned initiative(s) progress and escalate barriers
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst.
University degree or equivalent, Project Management Professional Certification, Change Management Certification
Proven experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis or a similar role
Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile working experience in Use Cases and User Stories
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, bringing order from ambiguity
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain healthy working relationships with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional partners
Excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, facilitation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, MS Project, SharePoint)
(Nice-to-have)
MBA, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Experience working with SOX teams to identify and create new controls within the business or technology processes
