What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Early Talent Acquisition Tech & Digital, the Campus Recruitment Coordinator will play an integral role in executing the campus recruitment strategy, as well as various front-line aspects of the recruiting process. The Coordinator will support campus recruiters by coordinating and managing candidate interviews and assisting candidates and campus recruiters with administrative aspects of the recruitment process. This will also include assisting with on-campus event planning activities and internal event support i.e. 10 Thousand Coffees, Orientation, etc.
This is an exciting opportunity for an entry level candidate interested in starting their career in Campus Recruitment with a focus on student hiring. The coordinator will also have an opportunity to attend on-campus events and get involved in aspects of the recruitment cycle.
What will you do?
Engagement & Events Support:
Support the planning, execution and attendance of on-campus and internal events i.e. Orientation, Hackathons, Conferences, Tech Talks, Information Sessions and Networking events
Support the team with the creation of presentation materials and on-campus swag and lead or participate in special projects as required.
Engage in digital networking; connect with students via one on one chats/group chats to connect with students to positively impact the student experience.
Regularly participate in activity on RBC Connect, LinkedIn, Twitter, 10K Coffees etc. with a focus on RBC campus branding and promotion.
Recruitment Support:
Provide administrative support for the campus recruitment strategy, including identifying creative approaches and solutions to campus recruitment support and administrative activities.
Management of ad-hoc administrative duties i.e. ordering of office equipment and supplies for events, management of on-campus swag materials, maintenance of the campus, recruitment storage closet and inventory tracking etc.
Manage interview scheduling process for all student and new grad roles
Support the review resumes and credentials for suitability of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements using appropriate selection techniques
Occasionally conduct preliminary phone interviews/pre-screens with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Build relationships with external organizations and schools through networking and special events; identify new academic programs and intake opportunities to enhance RBC talent pipeline.
Foster relationships with students throughout the year to support hiring initiatives.
Assist in developing onboarding for students connecting them to RBC, each other and other RBC student communities

Demonstrated experience utilizing social media tools and executing social media strategies for campus recruitment
Nice-to-have:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or related discipline
Knowledge and experience in Human Resources an asset
Event planning skills and experience an asset
Experience or interest/passion for Tech
