Job Description:

 - Support Senior Trade Specialists by assisting in post LC issuance maintenance.

- Process simple LC amendments and cancellations forwarded by Senior Trade Specialists.

- Monitor and followup with clients for system billed LC fees which remain unpaid.

- Process LC fee payments received and reconcile various RBC accounts so there are no aged items.

- Investigate and reconcile fees and account balances where not as expected.

- Ensure LC system accurately reflects the upto date LC position by updating as necessary.

- Process SWIFT & Fed payments to Correspondent Banks as claimed and post receivables.

- Respond professionally to client and RBC staff inquiries.

 

 

 Great computer skills and proficiency in Excel and Outlook are required. Knowledge of payments systems such as SWIFT and Fed is an asset. Training for other RBC applications will be provided.

Driven nature with ability to learn quickly are required. Organizational, time management and problem solving skills are essential to work. Graduate degree is preferred and previous Bank work experience would be an asset.

 

 

Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) designation.

Previous work in an accounts payable/receivable role.

French language proficiency.
