Job Description
The Pricing Analyst is accountable for developing winning pricing strategies and delivering customized quotes for Bell Business Markets (BBM) customers across Connectivity and Wireless services. This role plays a critical part in supporting profitable growth by providing market insights, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations that influence pricing decisions at senior leadership levels.
The successful candidate will leverage strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and pricing tools to assess competitive dynamics and provide pricing recommendations. This role requires a balance of independent execution and strong cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to influence Sales and senior management through clear communication and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze pricing data and perform financial analysis to support custom quotes and pricing recommendations
Develop competitive, winning pricing strategies using multiple inputs, including competitive intelligence and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
Track and manage wins and losses while ensuring pricing governance and compliance are maintained within pricing databases
Build compelling business cases to support pricing escalations and approval requests
Partner with Bell Business Markets Sales to support custom pricing for new business acquisition and customer retention
Gather, analyze, and communicate competitive intelligence to inform pricing strategies and market positioning
Deliver pricing-related training and ongoing support to Sales teams on pricing processes and tools as required
Skills and Competencies
University degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
3+ years of work experience is preferred
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, synthesize complex information, and generate actionable insights
Solid working knowledge of financial metrics and profitability drivers
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence Sales teams and senior leadership
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong business acumen to support Sales in recommending optimal pricing strategies
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge and experience in Telecom services is considered an asset
French language proficiency (written and verbal) is considered an asset
