Position Overview:
As a member of the TELUS Global Partner Management team (Vendor Managment) within TELUS Partner Solutions, you will be a key player to develop and deliver business performance information in support of our growth strategy. TELUS Partner Solutions vision is to: Bring a world of possibilities to our customers and the best of TELUS to the connected world.
Success will be achieved by supporting TELUS national high speed internet product. Specifically, you will be working closely with internal sales account primes, vendor managers, and third party carriers to perform pre-qualifications for high speed internet availability with our third party carriers. Your ability to understand the high speed internet marketplace and available carriers, sales force, billing systems, reporting databases and customer agreements will enable meaningful carrier selection decision-making that improves strategy development, revenue/cost management, customer experience and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written). He/She will take initiative to constantly and consistently apply their analytical, project management, and relationship skills to excel TELUS national high speed internet business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and pre-qualifications for third party carriers.
- Liaison and escalate deliverables to third party carriers.
- Support internal sales requests for third party internet.
- Initiate enhancements or cost reduction projects to improve the prequalification process.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent MS Excel Skills
- Business acumen with finance and performance analysis
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Project Managment experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills,creative problem-solving and diagnostic skills for business planning
- Excellent communication skills to convey conceptual information and ideas to business partners and department leadership.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and execute project
Required Education/Certifications
- University degree in business administration, finance or equivalent 1-2 years of equivalent combination of experience and education
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, financial reporting and business statistics
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry, specifically internet carriers, including market and regulatory dynamics would be an asset but not manditory
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
