POSITION SUMMARY:


As part of the Business Services Team (BST) and reporting to the CDC Manager, the CDC Intern supports local Career Development operations for the Canada offices across several functional areas. This role primarily supports the Career Development function to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and evolving business.


Career Development encompasses the core performance management processes for our Consulting Team, including:
•Project-based downward feedback
•Upward feedback for team managers
•Twice-yearly holistic assessment by the Career Development Committee (CDC)
•Enablement of CD Advisors and team leaders to deliver ongoing, high-quality development conversations throughout the BCG journey


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support operations to deliver an excellent Career Development (CD) experience for Consulting Team (CT) staff and CD stakeholders.

Feedback data management
• Collaborate with Talent Managers to ensure reviews in CD+ accurately reflect case assignments and timelines for the Canada Consulting team
• Leverage CD+ reporting to audit downward and upward feedback for all Canada-based CT staff
• Assist with targeted follow-ups on outstanding project reviews and upward feedback
• Review employee profiles in CD+ for completeness and accuracy


CDC meeting preparation
• Support CDC calendar management
• Coordinate meeting scheduling and logistics
• Provide CDC members with complete, timely, and accurate information to support review preparation
• Ensure information is accurate in the system, both pre- and post-CDC meetings


Additional duties
• Other ad hoc requests as needed


CORE JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles, procedures, and practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous experience in Human Resources or Performance Management is an asset, but not required
• Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and ownership of objectives
• Ability to prioritize, operate within a complex matrix organization, and manage upward with multiple stakeholders
