Job Description:

People & Culture (P&C) Assistant

Crosslinx Transit Solutions (CTS) is a consortium comprised of EllisDon, SNC-Lavalin, Aecon and ACS - Dragados. CTS has been selected by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to deliver the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project and is seeking highly qualified, experienced personnel to join the team of this complex P3 design and construction project.

The P&C Assistant reports directly to the Director, People & Culture and will support a wide range of operational HR responsibilities. 


  • Operational HR support to meet business requirements.
  • Support with Unionized labourer onboarding, paperwork, payroll instructions and employment letters.
  • Track work permit end dates and extensions for unionized foreign workers
  • Collaborates with other internal HR professionals on any new initiatives
  • Assists with HR programs and initiatives, including HR Administration, Metrics, and HRIS Administration.
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Updating organization charts.
  • Maintain computer and Human Resources Management systems by updating and entering employee data, performance reviews, investigations, and disciplinary actions, etc.
  • General HR office administration such as filing, data entry, document preparation, HR research, etc.
  • Participate in and help organize company events
  • Assist and perform ad hoc reports when required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related educational background.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR Administration capacity.
  • Pursuing CHRP designation is desirable.
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and foster effective relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with a high volume portfolio.
  • Strong MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio.
