The Contract Data Analyst role is aligned with many teams to help them achieve their goals. Accountabilities:
Consulting with internal customers (e.g., Procurement, finance and the member hospitals) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights that accelerate savings
Wrangling data from multiple sources including sales, contracts, product, and customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
Designing and building reports and analyses in Excel
Analyze purchase order receipt data and verify alignment with financial system data
Review SQL database via MS Access to identify and resolve issues and ensure data integrity is maintained
Perform database uploads and updates
Requesting information on an adhoc basis from suppliers
Answering queries from clients (hospitals)
Qualifications:
Highly analytical data junkie
Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems
Strong written and verbal communication
2 - 4 years working experience (can include co-op placements)
Strong detail orientation and proven accuracy in working with data
Proven ability to understand how data links within the system and to question unreasonable data
Ability to balance attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong focus on delivering results
Proven mathematical aptitude
Self motivated with demonstrated initiative; ability to work cross-functionally
Demonstrated awareness of team activities and work linkages
Familiarity with business terms (unit of measure, purchase order, product codes)
Intermediate MS Excel skills;basic MS Access skills
