Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Vistek, the successful candidate will provide analytical insights, process design recommendations and administrative support regarding Vistek product movement and the internal company supply chain by taking responsibility for the following:

  • Monitors store returns and open box programs and is responsible for record keeping, evaluation and reconciliation
  • Manages and reviews “non new “ inventory and evaluate for condition and product completion to make available for sale and in accurate and timely manner
  • Schedules and coordinates all physical inventories and cycle counts, researches all cycle count variances and inputs corrections
  • Problem solves to determine where and why various inventory gaps are occurring
  • Prepare physical inventory recaps
  • Creates, reviews, deploys and assists in the development of Inventory Control procedures
  • Identifies, places measures and works towards resolution of internal shrink issues
  • Coordinates changes to inventory for damages, vendor returns and continuity with the accounting team
  • Reviews outs and inventory adjustments daily
  • Works with purchasing to resolve excess inventory issues
  • Work with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure inventory is accurately located(physically/system) based on its status and condition
  • Quarterly audits of inventories to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy, by ensuring system information is accurate with physical location
  • Lead best practice improvement projects in projects regarding processes that impact traceability
  • Research inventory discrepancies, make changes within assigned SLA targets
  • Research lost or MIA merchandise, determine and identify root cause of inventory discrepancies and coordinate the implementation of processes improvement measures
  • Monitor “completely delivered” process and research/correct discrepancies
  • Job requires a mix between and office and warehouse environment
  • Investigate Inventory Adjustments:
  • Write off damaged goods and investigate cause of damage
  • Make sure daily inventory adjustment at the right reason code
  • Investigate Negative Bin
  • Check bin content on items as well as warehouse entries to see if the item is short, was replenished incorrectly, if the correct item is in the bin, or if the inventory is off.
  • Make adjustments on inventory when it is inaccurate e.g., two products are in stock but not reported in inventory


  • Ideally, has a minimum of  3–5 years of related experience in an inventory control and management environment
  • Exceptional analytical and critical information seeking skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft office suite including comprehensive MS Excel skills (i.e. V-Look Up, Macro).
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Ability to lead teams through process and project change
  • ERP system knowledge would be considerable asset
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Resourceful problem solver
