The Economic Growth, Culture & Entrepreneurship (EGCE) Department of the Corporation of the City of Markham is currently seeking a Recruitment Administrator. To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction and guidance of the Museum Manager and working closely with internal clients, you will be responsible for the administration and the tracking of the 2025 spring/summer recruitment and onboarding activities and processes for the Economic Growth, Culture & Entrepreneurship (EGCE) Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Developing a spreadsheet to enter, track and report on all of the spring/summer culture recruitment activities to include all aspects of the recruitment process.
Attend meetings and record data

Culture recruitment outreach at offsite highschool/collage/university career fairs
Assist in the revision of the 2025 summer recruitment strategy
Liaise with colleges/universities regarding job postings

Set up, attend and coordinate interview schedules and training sessions as needed
Assist with the updating of all interview guides
Photocopying, printing, emailing and preparing packages and/or information sheets for applicants and internal clients
Editing and updating training manuals and materials
Tracking and recording of documents and certifications
Providing status updates to your Supervisor regarding data received etc.
Analyzing data, and developing and gathering statistics and metrics if required.
Preparing reports
Documenting processes
Respond to external applicant inquiries
Ad hoc projects

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Post Secondary Education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
Six months of experience in office administration an asset
Intermediate level of Excel skills required
Strong communication skill both verbally and written
Excellent data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
Good written skills
Ability to work with multiple priorities, in a fast paced changing environment
Strong organizational skills
