Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, AMPS, you will be responsible for the office and system administration of the AMPS program. 

Job Duties:

Office Administration 

The data entry and processing of penalty notices in accordance with the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS)
Internal and external customer support on penalty notices and the City’s AMPS program
Preparing reports and summaries related to AMPS
Principal contact for the Contact Centre by responding to customer complaints and enquires
Initiate and assist with development and maintenance of by-laws and procedural documents
Assist in the development of training materials for new staff/users of GTECHNA system
Coordinate staffing and assist with operation of the Screening officer(s)
Preparation of screening schedule, hearing documents and attendance during hearings to provide administrative support when required
Coordinate work of part-time staff and assist the Manager of AMPS as required
 

System Administration 

Perform all required tasks as system administrator for the GTECHNA system
Liaison with vendor for system maintenance and upgrade tasks 
Ensure accurate and complete handheld and system downloads and troubleshooting; maintain AMPS system databases
Develop and conduct training sessions for GTECHNA for staff performing compliance related functions and, produce monthly and ad hoc reports as required
You will also be the City's designated onsite administrator of ARIS application, used under agreement with the Ministry of Transportation

 

Job Requirements:

Community College diploma in municipal law enforcement or a related program
Three to five year’s related experience in parking operations or administration
Working knowledge of Provincial Offences Act/AMPS and parking offences
Working knowledge of the Provincial Offences Act/AMPS and parking offences
Proficient in use of Microsoft applications; excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and communications skills, both verbal and written
Experience in development and delivery of training programs; ability to maintain, protect and work with confidential information.
