The role of the CSR / Inside Sales Support – Bilingual (French and English), is a support and sales role. Working with accounts that can be supported by phone and email as well as providing support for the Sales team on Key Accounts in Canada. The role is expected to be about 2/3 CSR/Sales Support and 1/3 Inside Sales.
The suitable candidate will be strong in our core values of Stretch, Breathe, Jazz and Wow and will be an organized, strong communicator with the ability to solve problems and complete tasks with little assistance or supervision. They will also need to be organized and able to work within SAP, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and complete tasks when promised.
Areas of Responsibility for CSR/Sales Support:
Help create quotes on items already being sold to the customer
Update customer price lists
Coordinate roll outs and projects
Help preparing for and coordinating customer events
Help with updating business plans
Aid with day to day maintenance of key customers as needed
Prepare samples to be sent to customers or for meetings
Organizing samples and sample area
Providing cut sheets and information documents to customers
Coordinating service calls and training sessions
Areas of Responsibility Inside Sales:
Identifying decision makers & showcasing relevant solutions via email/phone.
Creating relevant quotes and following up.
Following up on new leads provided through marketing or allocated by the National Sales Manager.
Working with Marketing and the National Sales Manager on outboard sales campaigns and promotions.
Provide customer service support and troubleshooting to customers
Occasional customer visits and presentations when needed.
Coordinating orders with operations to ensure promised lead times are met
Attending sales meetings and product launches
Helping with other accounts and covering for sales managers when required
Maintaining accurate records of contacts, conversations and quotes in Outlook and within the customer files in our server.
Keeping a call cycle that ensures all customers and potential customers are contacted regularly
Attending and helping with industry conferences and tradeshows
Coming up with and coordinating appropriate marketing campaigns for the customer base in partnership with our marketing department
Skills and Experience Required
Strong computer skill including working with MS Office and SAP
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to decide and correspond with the correct medium for the situation
Experience working with retail an asset
Mechanical ability an asset
Sales experience is an asset and the basic understanding of a sales cycle
