The Role

Under the guidance of the Social Media Manager, the Social Media Intern will assist in the execution of social media marketing efforts for Family Channel, Family CHRGD, Family Jr. and Télémagino.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with Social Media Manager to support the planning and execution of WildBrain TV’s social media marketing plans
  • Create engaging content for Social Media sites including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube by designing images and editing videos
  • Moderate social platforms to respond to inquiries and remove inappropriate comments
  • Administrative tasks such as brief writing, contest rules, couriering, research and competitive analysis
  • Additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Degree/diploma in marketing, digital media, communications, or a related field
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
  • A creative thinker with a passion for kids’ entertainment and television
  • Willingness to participate in occasional initiatives outside of business hours
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel and Word required
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and video edit software
  • Bilingual in French and English an asset
