Job Overview:

Laurentis Energy Partners (LEP) is looking for a result driven HR and Payroll professional to join our fast paced LEP team in the role of HR and Payroll Associate for a specific project. Our ideal candidate is an efficient, dynamic, and cooperative individual who can perform well while juggling multiple tasks with little to no direct supervision. Key Accountabilities:

Managing all new hire documents and accurate entry and maintenance in the payroll system
Maintaining timekeeping system entries and verifying employee attendance
Calculating amounts for salary purposes in such as shift premiums, overtime, statutory holidays and records of employment
Coordinating timekeeping and payroll systems
Providing information and answering employee questions regarding payroll related matters.
Preparing and processing financial documents such as bills, receipts, and invoices.
Updating and maintaining the database, financial records, and filing systems.
Tracking and monitoring financial transactions.
Reviewing financial records, documents, and information to ensure their accuracy.
Compiling financial spreadsheets, reports, statements, and other documents, as needed.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filling out forms, filing, and answering phone calls and emails.

Education/Qualifications:

1-3 years of related work experience.
Post-Secondary Education in related discipline (Human Resources Administration/Payroll)
Canadian Payroll Association Certification is considered an asset
Solid knowledge of payroll processing and payroll software
Superior knowledge and understanding of Employment Standards and application of legislation
High degree of accuracy, professionalism, and an ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
Change resilient in an agile work environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently
