Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable Data Entry Clerk to support our team with data entry, file management, and support our legal team with litigation matters. Responsibilities include entering and updating data, maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems, and ensuring records are accurate and up to date. This is an ideal entry-level role for someone with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input and update data in company systems and electronic file management platforms
Organize, maintain, and retrieve both electronic and paper files to ensure efficient document management
Serve as the primary point of contact for data administration and file maintenance within the team
Coordinate court filings and service of legal documents
Ensure data integrity and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Communicate and collaborate with legal assistants and law clerks to support additional clerical and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
A post-secondary diploma or certificate in legal administration/business administration or a similar field would be considered an asset
A minimum of one year experience in a similar administrative position in a professional office environment would be considered an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently with a strong attention to detail
