Purpose:
❑ To learn and implement skill sets, develop a strong knowledge of building systems, and gain an understanding of procedures and policies.
Relationship to Other Positions: Operations Intern
Reports to: Assistant Engineering Manager and/or Engineering Manager
Job Functions:
To learn and understand the following facets of building operation, which could include: ▪ Mechanical systems ▪ Electrical systems ▪ Plumbing systems ▪ Structural systems ▪ Building finishes ▪ Tenant relations ▪ Work order system ▪ Energy management ▪ Personnel management ▪ Life safety systems ▪ Construction management ▪ Hines IAQ policies ▪ Hines CFC policies ▪ Hines Hazardous waste policies ▪ Hines Asbestos Policies ▪ Hines Corporate Policies ▪ Energy Management Systems ▪ Control systems, electricity, pumps, HVAC, chillers ▪ Obtain operating licenses as required: refrigeration, A/C Tech., Steam Operator, etc ▪ Time Management ▪ Hines Quality Standards
