People and Culture Intern/Co-op
Work Location: Downtown Kitchener
Work Model: Hybrid - In office downtown Kitchener Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Need to be able to work core hours 10am-3pm EST for the week.
RouteThis is on a mission to revolutionize technical support. We build AI-powered solutions that help Internet Service Providers and Smart Home companies solve connectivity and WiFi problems, before the subscriber ever needs to call.
As we continue to advance our AI solutions, we are looking for an HR Intern to join our team and help accelerate our internal People and Culture operations while driving forward cutting-edge AI initiatives within human resources.

In this role you will:
● Talent Acquisition Support - includes: posting jobs and screening resumes and profiles both through our ATS and Linkedin. Manage Recruitment Scheduling: Coordinate the "candidate experience" end-to-end by managing calendars, scheduling interviews, reference checks and maintaining clear communication with applicants to ensure a seamless transition from application to offer.
● AI HR Innovation Projects: help to research, test, and utilize our current AI tools for various aspects of People team and help to build internal team knowledge bases.
● Participate in Event Planning and Team Culture: Assist with planning engaging team-building events, office celebrations, and internal wellness initiatives to keep our team connected.
● Support Office Operations: Assist People team with various office related items and ensure it is built under Health and Safety needs in mind for our physical environment.
● Enhance Employer Branding: Assist with content for LinkedIn and various mediums to highlight our company culture.
What you bring to the table:
● Recent graduate in a post-secondary Business, HR, Psychology, or related degree program.
● A strong "tech-first" mindset with a genuine curiosity about how AI, generative tools, and modern software can optimize traditional workflows.
● Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple calendar schedules like a pro without dropping the details.
● High emotional intelligence (EQ) and excellent written communication skills, ensuring interactions with candidates and internal staff are handled with empathy and professionalism.
● A proactive, high-velocity attitude someone who takes full ownership of projects and thrives on getting things done quickly and effectively.
