Job Title: Senior Manager, Agile Transformation
Division: Enterprise Information Technology, OLG
JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager of Agile Transformation is accountable for driving major agile improvement initiatives within Enterprise Technology. The role will be working closely with the Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) and senior leadership to facilitate agile improvement opportunities and transform our ways of working to better support our strategic goals.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Facilitate senior leadership teams to design and implement strategic transformation initiatives that align to Enterprise Technology’s strategic objectives and increases the organization’s agile maturity
• Partner with Agile CoE to identify opportunities to improve our agile ways of working and drive continuous improvement across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and develop comprehensive transformation plans that address people, process, and technology change
• Partner with Agile CoE to manage intake, progress, and impediments of incoming and ongoing agile improvement initiatives across Enterprise Technology
• Manage strategic change initiative roadmaps and implementation including timelines and resources
• Provide guidance and coaching to senior leadership and teams to build capabilities and support the adoption of new ways of working
• Establish metrics and track progress to measure the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for further improvement
• Communicate progress, challenges and opportunities to senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by identifying emerging trends and best practices and sharing them broadly across the organization
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
• Internal (Enterprise Technology): Collaborate with key stakeholders including senior leadership, department leads and teams
• Internal (Agile CoE): Collaborate with Agile Coaches and agile CoE change agents
• Internal (Other): Collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure adequate buy-in of strategic change initiatives and continued compliance of the organization
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
KNOWLEDGE:
• Minimum of 5+ years in relevant field or expertise including management consulting, transformation, strategy and operations, supporting major change initiatives in a similar size organization
• Demonstrated experience managing large scale transformation initiatives within enterprise technology departments
• Demonstrated experience in strategic problem solving, large group stakeholder management and executive stakeholder management
• Demonstrated experience with E2E agile delivery methodology
• A foundational understanding of financial modelling and business casing
• Post-secondary degree, preferably in business administration and/or project management discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Masters in Business Administration or Analytics an asset
EXPERIENCE:
• Corporate or Business Unit Strategy, Transformation, Agile Delivery, Management Consulting or a relevant industry
