Talent Acquisition Coordinator Internship
As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, this position will be responsible to provide administrative support to the team. This role is focused on day-to-day tactical coordination and administration of key tasks associated with the organization’s recruitment and selection lifecycle, including posting, offer creation, background checks, and new hire boarding.
You will be accountable to:
- Create and distribute offer letters and new hire packages to prospective candidates
- Administer background checks and perform reference checks on all prospective new hires to the organization. Analyze results to ensure alignment with corporate standards
- Participate in outreach recruitment strategies including career fairs, co-op and campus programs
- Post and manage current openings on Moneris’ internal applicant tracking system (ATS), along with administering and monitoring postings on all external sites
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of interviews with hiring managers
- Administration of various testing tools (in-house testing, psychometric testing)
- Support the TA team on other talent acquisition related activities
Your experience includes:
- Completion of a post secondary education in a related field of study. An HR related diploma or degree is an asset; CHRP designation completed/in progress is an asset
- 1 – 2 years of experience in an administrative or related role in a professional business environment. Experience supporting a recruiting or Human Resource function will be considered an asset
- Attention to detail is required to ensure reporting and administrative systems are accurate and current
- Strong team player, who demonstrates a high level of initiative and a sound work ethic
- Service oriented with a customer-centric approach to all interactions
- Proven ability to deal with confidential information in a sensitive and appropriate manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong Computer skills (familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook). Experience with an applicant tracking system is a bonus
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work independently to meet tight deadlines
- Quick learner/experience in a fast-paced office environment an asset
- Bilingualism in English/French is an asset

This is a 12 month internship position in our Toronto Head Office located at 3300 Bloor Street West.
