What you'll do As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will play a key role through your support in optimizing our recruiting efforts throughout the organization. Your day-to-day will focus on tactical coordination and administration of key tasks associated with the organization’s recruitment and selection lifecycle, including posting, sourcing, scheduling, offer creation and new hire boarding. You will also support the Recruitment Marketing Specialist with planning our participation in hiring events across Canada. You will report into the Director, Talent Acquisition.
• Support members of the Talent Acquisition team on a variety of administrative duties
• Post and manage current openings on external job posting sites
• Ensure all job postings comply with our standard template and brand standards
• In consultation with hiring managers and recruiters, create and distribute offer letters to prospective candidates/ contractors using HCM system (Workday)
• Assist with interview scheduling
• Keep templates and other files updated
• Conduct reference checks on selected candidates (in-person/external)
• Participate in planning and outreach recruitment strategies including career fairs, co-op, and campus programs
• Gain exposure to the end-to-end recruitment life cycle including screening, interviewing, assessing applicants.
• Comply with corporate policies established by Moneris Corporation including but not limited to the Moneris Code of Conduct
• Perform other duties, as required.
What you bring
Must-have experience, knowledge, skills & abilities
• Post-secondary graduate, with specialization in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
• Some work experience, ideally in a professional office setting (e.g. co-op term or summer employment)
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal, written)
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
Nice-to-have experience, knowledge, skills & abilities
• French bilingualism is an asset
• Project coordination experience
