Job Description:

About this Role: As the 311 Intern, you will work closely with our Technical Supervisors and the entire 311 team to execute administrative tasks and ensure great customer service in a contact centre environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in contributing their technical skills in Business Administration, Data Analysis and Reporting. Through this internship, you will be developing skills required for working at any customer service-driven organization especially within a technical discipline.

Vacancy Type: Temporary – Internship

Internship Duration: Up to 6 Months

Number of Positions: 1 (One)

Hours of Work: 35 hours/week

 

Department/Division/Section: Corporate Services Dept, Corporate Business Services Division, Customer Service

Must-Haves:

Reliable; ability to work in a hybrid model as well as independently and unsupervised.
Excellent communication skills and foundational understanding of customer service.
Customer Service experience.
Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
Ability to design meaningful and visually appealing reports curated to the varying business requirements of many client groups.

Nice to Have but not Mandatory:

Experience in Data Analytics and Visualization using SQL, Power BI and Excel
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, DAX, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Experience in effective Data Modelling

What you’ll do:

Interns will have an opportunity to contribute to a variety of duties such as creating reports and dashboard as well as administrative tasks.
Responsible for assisting Staff with short term projects to meet business requirements.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
