Job Summary
The Intern will support the Rapid Transit Program Office (RTPO) with day‑to‑day administrative and file‑management activities. Reporting to the RTPO Director, the student will assist with organizing, digitizing, and managing confidential records to support major rapid transit initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the RTPO team, including confidential file and document management.
Organize, catalogue, and digitize paper records into electronic files.
Create, structure, and maintain a digital filing system using SharePoint and other electronic repositories.
Maintain document control and ensure records are accurate, complete, and properly stored.
Perform data entry, reporting, tracking, and general administrative duties such as filing and document preparation.
Conduct research, compile data, and assist with troubleshooting administrative issues as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Diploma or degree related to administration, business, planning, information management, or a comparable discipline.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and document‑management platforms (e.g., SharePoint) is required.
Strong administrative and technical skills, with the ability to organize and manage both paper and electronic records.
Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with comfort performing repetitive or process‑driven tasks.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
